The last evening changed the top spot in Europe and Asia
On the evening of November 5, a few hours before the close, Valve reworked its leaderboards along with the Season 2 notes: the order now follows badge progress, and it takes 50 ranked matches within the last 30 days to appear. Season 1 ended on this new order.
- In Europe, MikaelS, first on our 8 pm UTC snapshot, finishes 29th. Scoish Velociraptor Maloish, second, takes the lead, and OniBy and together each move up one spot. The_magnificent_deadlock makes the biggest jump in the top 10, from 49th to 5th;
- in Asia, 150cm 150kg, fourth at 8 pm UTC, finishes first. 我会尊重你的感, who was leading, finishes 6th;
- in North America, wander and notes keep their spots. ACCELERATE, third, drops to 62nd and leaves the podium to ttv geoodl;
- in South America, Fernandi2 stays on top, but PGZ GOAT, second at 8 pm UTC, no longer appears on the final leaderboard;
- in Oceania, the podium doesn’t move.
Beyond the top spots, the order holds: depending on the region, 92 to 99 of the old top 100 are still in the final top 100.
The longest reigns
Since September 25, we have captured the leaderboard every day. Over those 42 days, taking the last snapshot of each day, before the rework of November 5:
- Asia: 150cm 150kg, 13 days on top. First seen on October 12 in 8th place, 150cm 150kg took the lead on the 14th and held it for twelve days in a row. Of all the longest reigns, it is the only one that ends with the title;
- Oceania: tap4foenm groupie and t², 12 days each. The first is no longer ranked at the close, the second finishes 6th. Jai_Stacked, 5 days on top, finishes first;
- Europe: fargareko, 9 days, ahead of MikaelS, 7 days. fargareko finishes 62nd. Along with North America, it is the most contested region: 17 different players were number one;
- South America: navars and tried, 8 days each. navars finishes 7th and tried 8th. tried, missing from the old leaderboard on the last evening, comes back with the new order;
- North America: fug, 6 days, and lordnm, 5 days. fug finishes 79th and lordnm is no longer ranked. wander, 32nd on our first snapshot on September 25, was number one for a single day: the last one.
Season 2 starts empty
The Season 2 leaderboard will fill up over the coming days: it takes 50 ranked matches in the season to get in. Our Leaderboard page will follow it as soon as Valve publishes it, and the Season 2 rules are covered in yesterday’s article.

- days on top: the last snapshot of each day (UTC), from September 25 to November 5, in the order before the rework;
- names: as shown in game. Several accounts can share the same name, and the site only links a name to a profile when a single account matches it;
- limit: our snapshots start on September 25. The first two months of the season, which opened on July 30, are not included.
